Our first milestone-Our dear Omni Ambulance which we received as a donation from the Canine Club of Thrissur on 02.01.2013 thanks to the generosity of the President, Shri Chandran I.P.S, Secretary, Shri Augustine, and other members of the club when we approached them for help when we were a baby organization. We are most grateful to them for trusting us even as a new organization of 6 months old.
She has covered 147648 km and has saved so many animal lives and once even a human who met with a bad accident on the road a few years back!!! She has saved our lives as well when Kannan and I were chased in a Dosth van by people of the meat mafia carrying huge sticks and knives, at Chettupuzha a couple of years back. We were chased for a couple of kilometers which then felt like several miles! She saved our lives that day and got us to the Anthikkad Police Station and has never let us down, in all the risks we have taken so far. She is now old and needs a lot of repairs. We need such a small-sized ambulance for the kind of work we do, sometimes needing to get to places urgently through heavy traffic. She can be repaired, if we can raise the funds for it. We took her for repairs before the test( which is due) and the workshop has quoted Rs 45000/- for the repairs to get her back as good as new. She has been in the workshop for the past 3 weeks and no work has been started as we haven't been able to pay the advance.
